about.

David serves as the contracted executive design director of Deep Tropics, Nashville's premier music, art, and style festival that transforms Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park into a tropical electronic dance paradise each year. Founded in 2017 by brothers Blake and Joel Atchison through Full Circle Presents and powered by the nonprofit Deep Culture, the festival features four stages showcasing global house, techno, bass, and experimental artists such as Chris Lake, Subtronics, RL Grime, and Kaskade. It attracts over 15,000 attendees with immersive experiences that blend high-energy beats, wellness activations, and stunning art installations. David's involvement draws from more than a decade of producing festivals worldwide between 2011 and 2020, through which he has infused Deep Tropics with innovative operations, community building, and a strong focus on sustainability—establishing it as North America's greenest event via zero-waste initiatives, carbon offsetting, and regenerative practices. Deep Tropics is where music meets mindful living, aligning perfectly with interests in tech, travel, and creating meaningful connections. Join the next wave!
